Canadians Wary of Re-opening Borders

A recent poll suggests Canadians don't want to see the Canada - U.S. border reopened.

The Leger survey polled 2,200 Canadians.

About 70 percent of respondents indicated they are either very or somewhat concerned about allowing American visitors to cross the border.

About 26 percent of those surveyed said they were either not very worried or not worried at all.

In the U.S. Leger study, only 31 percent of Americans said they were nervous about lifting border restrictions.
