Province reports highest daily case count since April 23rd
The province is reporting 4,177 new cases of COVID-19 today on top of the more than 3,000 reported yesterday.
Health officials also recorded two new deaths.
Of the new infections reported today, 905 involve people who are unvaccinated, but the majority involve people fully vaccinated.
The province's positivity rate now stands at 8.7 percent.
Meanwhile, Niagara Public Health is reporting another 85 new cases today, on top of the 101 recorded yesterday.
There are 699 active cases in Niagara right now.
