Tim Hicks headlining "Rise With Glowing Hearts" concert, with special guests Loverboy and POESY.
Just over a week to go before the "Rise With Glowing Hearts" concert at the Meridian Centre in St. Catharines!
The event, which takes place April 27th and marks 100 days to go to the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games, will feature headliner Tim Hicks, as well as the band Loverboy and singer-songwriter POESY.
We spoke to Hicks, who says that he's honoured to be sharing the bill with Loverboy and POESY.
"It's not that often that we get to do shows that are cross-genre. Typically, I'm on with two or three other country acts. So this show is especially special."
Hicks, who is from St. Catharines, tells us he's looking forward to checking out the fun at this year's Games.
"I love events like this that are national events. When Team Canada plays, we're glued to the television."
The singer also shared some advice for the athletes competing at the Games.
"Honestly, you just have to keep going. I think that's the biggest thing. Just trying to tune out the naysayers, put your shoulder down and be in it. And do your absolute best to hone your craft."
