An Amber Alert has been issued for five missing children from Niagara.

The NRP says the five siblings were taken from their family home in Jordan, sometime between Thursday September 19th and Wednesday September 25th.

Their descriptions are as follows;

Evalyn MacDermid - female, five-years-old, 3'8", long black hair, medium build, Asian.

Mattias MacDermid - male, 10-years-old, 4'8", small/medium build, light brown hair, Asian.

Sovereign MacDermid - female, 11-years-old, 5'2", heavy set, long black hair, Asian.

Eska MacDermid - female, 13-years-old, 5'1", medium build, long brown hair, Asian

Magnus MacDermid - male, 14-years-old, 5'6", medium build, black spiky hair, Asian.

Police believe they may be with their father; Ian Glenn MacDermid.

He's 49-year-old white man, standing at about six-feet-tall and weighing between 265 and 280 pounds.

He has blond hair, blue eyes and facial hair and may be driving a gold or beige coloured pick-up truck.

The NRP says the children are subject to a temporary custody order, and their father violated that order by failing to return them.

Anyone with information should contact police.
