Coyotes Spotted in North Welland

There have been coyote sightings in the north end of the Rose City.

Welland officials are warning locals to keep a close eye on their pets.

You should use a leash while walking your dog. Cats should be indoors from dusk til dawn.

If you spot a coyote, make sure to remain calm and keep your distance.

Coyotes sightings can be reported to the Ministry of Natural Resources, by calling 1-800-667-1940.
