New Communities in Bloom Projects in Niagara-on-the-Lake

Niagara-on-the-Lake will be largely participating in the Communities in Bloom Program.

The committee announced multiple upcoming programs on Friday in an effort to promote more than just looks, but also community pride and the protection of the environment.

Upcoming programs include:

Adopt a Park - Beginning June 1st, the town is asking local groups to help in the organization of different services including park cleanups. 

Tulips for Trees - A program that sells the bulbs of tulips from town gardens and is always looking for volunteers.

Seed Library - A program that has already begun. Seed packets being loaned by the local library.

A handful of other programs have been proposed as part of the Communities in Bloom Committee's actions towards making Niagara-on-the-Lake a better place.
