Planting Trees in Pelham's Harold Black Park

May 28, 2019

By: Marcie Culbert

People of all ages are welcome to come on out to Pelham's community tree plant in Harold Black Park.

Twelve new trees will be planted this Friday; including Ironwoods, Tulips, Butternuts, Katsuras, and Sugar Maples.

It's happening rain or shine between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Make sure you bring your own shovel and gardening gloves. You should also wear sunscreen, bug spray, appropriate outdoor clothing, a hat and sturdy shoes (preferably steel toe.)

The tree planting is sponsored by Andrew’s Tree & Shrub and Gauld’s Nursery.
