Strong Winds Spark Special Weather Statement in Niagara

A special weather statement is in effect for Niagara, with strong winds in for the forecast for today.

They could gust up to 80 kilometres an hour, but Environment Canada says they should diminish later in the afternoon.

Strong winds can bring down tree limbs and cause power outages.
