Wet Conditions Creating Maintenance Headaches in Niagara Falls

The grass is looking a little longer than usual at some of the parks and sports fields in Niagara Falls.

Public Works staff haven't been able to get out there as often this year, thanks to all the rain and the late spring thaw.

They can't use their heavy equipment when the ground is saturated with water, so they have to wait for it to dry out.

Crews are hoping to get out there as soon as they can, and they're thanking everyone for the patience at this time.
