Welland Floatfest

The 9th Annual Canadian Tire Welland Floatfest celebrates summer fun on the Welland Canal

On Sunday, July 14th grab your favorite floatie and join Corey Mottley from River Mornings from 10-2 LIVE on Location for a great day of floating on the canal, food, and all-day entertainment.

Registration begins at 10am. At noon, participants begin entering the water in a safe way. The floating caravan will travel from the Lincoln Street Docks to the Lincoln Street Bridge with exit points along the way.

Thanks to the continued support from Canadian Tire in Welland, Floatfest is a free family event. Other than a request to bring a non-perishable or hygiene item to donate to Community Food Drives. Everything is inexpensive so families can gather to celebrate being together and to celebrate Welland.
