Back to School Supply Drive in Welland

The kids just got off school for the summer, but the Open Arms Mission in Welland is already thinking about September.

It's hosting a backpack and school supply drive this month. Donations are being collected at the following locations;

- Open Arms Mission (22 Fifth Street)

- Welland Downtown BIA (195 East Main Street)

- Redeemed Goods (298 Crowland Avenue)

The most needed items include pencils, pens, math kits, calculators, lined paper and backpacks for girls in Grades 6 to 8.

All of the donations have to be new and must be dropped off before Friday July 26th.
