Niagara's home prices have been going up, but it's still cheaper to buy here when compared to the other urban areas.
The Canadian Real Estate Association says the average price of a home in the Niagara Region is about $413,000.
The average in the Hamilton-Burlington area is about $614,000 and it's more than $800,000 in the Toronto area.
Officials say more people have been wanting to move to Niagara for our cheaper real estate market.
Home prices in Niagara have gone up 81 percent over the past five years, the largest jump of any market in the country.
