There's a new pilot project helping seniors get fit in Niagara.
Niagara College is teaming up with Radiant Care's Tabor Manor in St. Catharines.
The foundation for the not-for-profit senior's residence raised $80,000 for a new fitness and wellness centre.
Graduates from Niagara College, and students on placements, help run the centre and provide classes for seniors Monday to Friday.
The pilot project was funded in part by the province and will run until the end of March.
Radiant Care is looking to add a similar fitness facility to Pleasant Manor in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
