It's back and better than ever! Rain or shine! Join us for an egg-citing time!
Are you ready for a fun-filled Easter event that promises to be better than ever? The Thorold BIA is partnering once again with the Thorold Public Library and the Thorold 50+ Centre to host our annual Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, April 4, 2026. Mark your calendars for a morning of excitement from 10am to 12 noon. Don't worry about being late - you can drop by anytime after 10am, and the event will wrap up by 12pm.
Check in Place: Thorold Library, 14 Ormond Street North
Date: Saturday, April 4th, 2026
Time: 10am to 12 noon (drop by anytime after 10am. The event ends at 12pm)
What to expect: meet the Easter Bunny, visit local businesses for free candy + treats, colouring contests, story walk, games, live music and more!

Details:
1) Check in at the Thorold Public Library on Ormond Street anytime between 10 and noon. Unleash your creativity in our exciting colouring contest, and stroll through the enchanting story walk (at the Thorold Public Library)!
2) Looking for more fun? Stop by the Thorold Centre 50+ (Senior Centre) at 8 Carleton St South from 10am-12pm to see the Easter Bunny, hot chocolate, games & more. Don't forget your camera!
3) Don’t miss the chance to interact with the Thorold Fire Department, Niagara Regional Police and Provincial Construction (Niagara Falls) at our mini ‘touch a truck’ event at the Thorold Community Credit Union parking lot at 63 Front Street South.
4) Drop into the Hydro Parkette on Front Street North to enjoy free draws, treats and live music by Rusty Jacob. Music sponsored by Griffin IT. The treats will be provided by JC Patissier.
5) While exploring Downtown Thorold look for businesses with balloons and pop in for a free treat (candy provided by the Thorold BIA and local businesses).
Parking:
Parking is available at the Thorold Public Library, Thorold Centre 50+, street parking (where available) and municipal lots. Please make sure to follow signage in terms of parking limits and only park in marked parking spots.
Colouring Contest Details:
Download the colouring sheets by clicking the age category for your child on our website event page (https://thoroldbia.com/pages/easter-egg-hunt).
One entry per child. One winner will be chosen from each age category. Colouring contest sheets must be turned into the Thorold Public Library at the event, by 12pm on April 4th. Winners will be contacted by phone or email.
