One Book One Niagara encourages the community to read the same book and come together for a grand finale event. Thomas and his debut, award winning novel will be featured at the 2024 OBON event taking place on Tuesday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. at Welland Centennial High School.

The event on April 23 will begin with drumming and singing from the Strong Water Singers and a Pouring Libations with Kerry Goring, followed by a conversation between Thomas and local author Patty Krawec. The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions following the discussion. At the conclusion of the Q&A, Thomas will be signing books.
