Distress Centre Marks World Suicide Prevention Day in St. Catharines

Lots of people will light a candle tonight, for World Suicide Prevention Day.

The Distress Centre will be hosting it's 14th annual Suicide Awareness Walk in St. Catharines.

All of the proceeds will benefit it's 24-hour crisis phone line.

Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The walk will begin after a candle lit memorial in Market Square at 7:30 p.m.

The event will honour those who have lost and the survivors still with us today.
