Fort Erie Couple Raises More than $52,000 for Hurricane Dorian Relief

September 12, 2019

A Fort Erie couple managed to raise more than $52,000 through a GoFund Me page for Hurricane Dorian relief.

Ken and Fiona Williams used the money to buy emergency supplies and they will be shipped down to Grand Bahama over the next couple of days.

The Willams lost their winter home in the storm a few weeks ago. They are thankful to still have their place in Niagara, and started the fundraiser to help the survivors down south.

The death toll stands at about 50 people with 2,500 still missing.

You can still donate to the GoFund Me page online here.
