High Water Levels turn Kiwanis Duck Race into Draw

June 4, 2019

By: Marcie Culbert

Flooding will keep the ducks out of the water in Port Dalhousie.

Instead of their usual Duck Race, the St. Catharines Kiwanis Club will be holding a draw on Sunday June 16th.

The prizes remain the same; $10,000 for first place and $1,000 for second. Eight others will also walk away with $500 each.

This is the second time in 22 years that the annual Duck Race has been turned into a draw.
