Niagara Occasional Teacher Local Honoured by ETFO

The Niagara Occasional Teacher Local has received the 2019 Member Service and Engagement Award.

It's handed out by the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario, which represents 83,000 educators across the province.

ETFO President Sam Hammond says the the group overcomes the challenges of reaching out and staying connected, all while serving and empowering local teachers.

The Niagara Occasional Teacher Local is led by President Mark Carter.
