The Ontario Hockey League has issued a fine for $250,000 to the Niagara IceDogs Hockey Club for violating player recruitment policies.

The IceDogs will also lose their first round draft selections in the 2019 and 2021 OHL Priority Selection process.

This comes after the league hired the law firm of Lax O’Sullivan Lisus Gottlieb LLP to conduct a third party investigation.
