Shining a Purple Light on Overdose Awareness in Niagara

A memorial will be taking place at the Niagara Falls Community Health Centre, just days before International Overdose Awareness Day.

It will be hosted by the centre, Positive Living Niagara and the Overdose Prevention Network.

Everything will get started at 6:00 p.m.

Saturday August 31st marks the official International Overdose Awareness Day. Niagara Falls, the Schmon Tower, the Peace Bridge and Bridge 13 in Welland will light up purple to mark the occasion.
