Some Beaches Closed to Finish the Weekend

If you're looking to finish off  the weekend with a day at the beach make sure to check and make sure it's safe to swim first.

There are currently eight beaches closed in the Niagara region including Waverly Beach in Fort Erie, Sherkston Quarry Beach in Port Colborne, and Sunset Beach in St. Catharines.

When E. coli levels get too high the beaches are closed to swimming for the public's safety.

Lakeside Beach, Charles Daly East and Nelles Park beaches are still all closed due to high water levels.
