Water Levels Remain High in Lake Erie and Lake Ontario

July 4, 2019

By: Marcie Culbert

It looks like the water levels have stabilized in Lake Erie, thanks to the warm and dry weather.

Lake Erie is just over 175 metres at this point, still 14 centimetres above the record high.

Lake Ontario is almost 76 metres, which is 84 centimetres above average.

NPCA officials say the water levels should start to go down, but they'll still remain above average for the foreseeable future.
