The event starts at noon on Saturday
This is a big weekend for the City of St. Catharines, as it celebrates its 150th birthday.
The city is inviting everyone to Montebello Park on Saturday, as on May 1st, 1876, the city was born, after more than 30 years of being a town.
Saturday's event is from noon to 4, with a ceremonial cake celebration and welcome from Mayor Mat Siscoe at 1, followed by a wide range of activities, and free food.
There will be games, an STC150 photo booth, STC150 giveaways, and a chance to look at city and fire department vehicles.
You can also head to the Kiwanis centre, for the 150 Challenge, which challenges people to swim 150 metres, or 150 minutes, or tread water for 150 seconds, all for fitness.
