Police say it happened on Beaverdams Road over the weekend, serious injuries suffered
A single vehicle crash in Thorold has sent a 20-year old Hamilton resident to hospital with serious injuries.
Police were called over the weekend to the scene near Merrittville Highway and Beaverdams Road.
They found a heavily damaged Ford Fusion, and the lone occupant, who was rushed to an out of region hospital.
Police say it was heading west on Beaverdams as it approached Merrittville, lost control and left the road.
There were no other vehicles involved, and police are still working to find out why this happened.
