Over 40,000 masks have been given to residents of Port Colborne.
Fire & Emergency Services hosted a free non-medical mask giveaway last Tuesday.
The event was made possible by a donation of over 100,000 masks from Niagara Health, Fire & Emergency Services.
Attendees were encouraged to donate non-perishable food items to Port Cares, and over three bins of donations as well as $750 in cash was collected for the Port Cares school lunch program.
Over 60,000 masks remain, and Fire & Emergency Services will be holding mask giveaways every Tuesday from 4-6 PM at the fire station at 3 Killaly Street West until all the masks are gone.
