They found 1,785 pounds of marijuana hidden in a shipment of coffee makers.
U.S. border officers found the drugs at the Peace Bridge border crossing last Friday.
The drugs have an estimated street value of $2.5 million.
The driver will be prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of New York.
The Canada –US border closed to non-essential traffic on March 21st, but Buffalo border officers have still seized over 4,885 pounds of narcotics since then.
