A man was shot in a parking lot in September
A 6th person has been arrested after another man was shot in a parking lot near the Grimsby/Stoney Creek border in September.
Police found the victim with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
They also believed the shooting was targeted, and no threat to public safety.
In October, police searched a house in Hamilton, finding guns and drugs, and arrested 5 people, from Hamilton, charging two with firing a gun.
On Friday, police say they arrested 27-year old Bellaluddin Shahabuddin of Thorold, who faces 7 charges:
- Conspiracy to Commit and Indictable Offence
- Aggravated Assault
- Careless Use of a Firearm
- Discharging a Firearm with Intent to Wound
- Pointing a Firearm
- Carrying a Concealed Weapon
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle
A bail hearing was on Monday.
