Police say a Fort Erie store was held up

Police say they've formed enough information to charge 27-year old Patrick Sassano of Fort Erie with:
- Robbery Using a Firearm
- Disguised with Intent
- Possession of an Imitation Weapon
He remains in police custody with a court appearance scheduled for next Tuesday.

Police are looking for a suspect after a convenience store in Fort Erie was robbed early Friday night.
Police were called at around 7:40 to the store on Bertie Street, near North Street, for an armed robbery.
They found a man approached the clerk, with a gun, and demanded money from the till.
Police say the clerk handed a quantity over, and the suspect took off in a black sedan, last seen heading northbound on High Street.
The suspect is:
- White
- Male
- 5’10”
- Approximately 25 years old
- Brown winter jacket
- Grey hooded sweatshirt
- Black pants
- Brown and black work boots
- Dark coloured facemask
- Red and black toque
Police ask that any businesses, or homeowners in this area that have video footage to take a look, and call police if you see anything that can help catch this man, and find the car.
