Pilot Project for Nexus Expands

Applicants don't have to be interviewed by as many agents now

Another step forward to help the Nexus program work better between Canada and the US.

New York congressman Brian Higgins says applicants in Canada can now sit down with border agents on opposite sides of the border, between Fort Erie and Buffalo.

Prior to that the standard practice was to be interviewed by U-S and Canadian agents at the same time.

This is the pilot project that began in September at different Ontario/US crossings, that's expanded to the Peace Bridge.
