Fitch Street Public School in Welland is expanding, thanks to $15.4-milllion from the Ontario government.
The money will help create 205 more spaces, and 49 licenced child care spaces.
The government says the work is part of a $1.3-billion investment to support new school construction and expand existing ones.
Sue Barnett is the Chair of the DSBN, and says Welland is a flourishing city, and proud home to thousands of outstanding students.
