Ribbon cutting ceremony held to celebrate expansion of Dorken Systems Inc
It's being called a significant expansion for a manufacturing facility in Beamsville.
Last week, Dorken Systems Inc. held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the plant, with Lincoln Mayor Sandra Easton and MPP Sam Oosterhoff in attendance.
For over 100 years, the company has provided high performance air and moisture barriers for commercial and residential constructions.
President and CEO Marcus Jablonka says the expansion will allow them to increase production, which will help create more local jobs.
"As part of this expansion, Dörken will continue to manufacture and develop building materials that help builders and architects build to higher standards, with products that are more sustainable, energy efficient, and contribute to lower carbon emissions."
