It's Smile Cookie Week at Tim Hortons in Niagara
Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Week is here.
It'll run until September 25th.
This year, proceeds from Tim Hortons locations in Niagara Falls will benefit Hospice Niagara and Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Niagara.
Sarah Ludberg, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Niagara says the charity relies on initiatives like this in order to provide services to troubled youth.
"As a non-profit agency, we receive no sustained government funding, and we rely heavily on fundraising initiatives such as Smile Cookies to help support our mentoring programs for children and youth who are facing adversity" Ludberg said.
The organization, which has been chosen as a Smile Cookie beneficiary for two years in a row, provides school based programs and community based one on one mentorship programs to help them thrive in school and in the community.
You can pre-order a batch of at least 12 cookies by filling out an order form and dropping it off at any Tim Hortons location in Niagara Falls.
Ludberg also says the organization is looking for volunteers to help decorate the cookies.
