Police haven't released details such as identity or cause of death
A tragic discovery has been made in the Niagara gorge near Table Rock.
Niagara Regional police, along with the fire department, and Niagara Parks police were called yesterday, just after the noon hour to the Niagara Parkway, to find human remains.
The coroner's office has taken over the investigation, and have not revealed the deceased individual's identity or cause of death.
Meanwhile, Niagara regional police say a missing Fort Erie man has been found.
They say out of respect for the family, no further details will be released after finding 45-year old Michael Jackson. While searching for him recently, police had said he could have been in the Niagara Falls area.
Police have not given any indication whether the body found in the gorge is connected to finding the missing man.
