The NRP is investigating after a body was discovered in the Welland River.
The discovery was made around 10:15 this morning near Prince Charles Drive and Colbeck Drive in Welland.
The matter is being investigated by the 3 District-Welland Office, the Coroner and the Forensic Services Unit.
Further details about the deceased are not being released at the moment, pending positive identification and notification of next of kin.
