The school joins U of T and Western in mandatory vaccine requirement
Brock University posting on its website that students, faculty, staff and visitors who wish to access campus this fall must be vaccinated.
School officials say at least a first dose of a Health Canada approved vaccine will be required by September 7th and a second dose by October 15th.
Anyone who cannot be vaccinated, based on medical or other grounds recognized by the Ontario Human Rights Code, can request an accommodation,
Officials add all members of the Brock community returning to campus will be required to attest to their COVID-19 vaccine status and be prepared to furnish proof of vaccination to the University.
Previously Brock had announced all students living in residence must be vaccinated.
A recent survey done by the school has found more than 90 percent of students are already vaccinated or intend to be by the start of the fall term.
