The NRP has been called in to investigate, after someone stole jewelry and a burial urn in Pelham.
Police believe someone broke into a home in the Maple Street and Kilman Road area, at some point during the day yesterday.
The urn is described as a small wooden box with barn board and black and light coloured wood.
It was containing ashes at the time of the theft.
