Games were originally to take place in 2021 but the pandemic delayed them a year
The Canada Summer Games kickoff in Niagara this weekend.
Opening ceremonies are set for tomorrow night at 8 p.m. at the Meridian Centre in St. Catharines.
The opening ceremony will see a "Parade of Teams", where Games participants will march into the stadium, one provincial or territorial team at a time.
More than 5,000 young athletes and their coaches will gather to compete for the podium in Canada's largest multi-sport event.
Events start on Sunday with tennis, swimming, softball and baseball, box lacrosse and soccer.
