Tourism spending across Canada is expected to recover quicker than originally predicted.
Some good news for Niagara's tourism industry.
Destination Canada has published its latest tourism outlook.
It's predicting that by 2024, tourism spending will reach the same levels as in 2019.
That's a year earlier than the organization forecast in the spring.
Meanwhile, Canada's domestic travel market is recovering at an even quicker rate.
This year, domestic travel spending is expected to reach about 92 percent of 2019 levels, and fully recover next year.
