Mayor Jim Diodati says the CFL Awards and a special concert will be held in the city as part of Grey Cup festivities
The City of Niagara Falls is taking part in Grey Cup festivities later this year.
While the big game will be in Hamilton this year, the CFL awards will be handed out at the Avalon Theatre on November 16th.
That will be followed by a concert at the OLG Stage.
"The meat and the potatoes will happen in Hamilton, but the dessert and the ice wine will happen in Niagara Falls" says Mayor Jim Diodati.
Every day during Grey Cup week, there will be a shuttle bus running between Niagara Falls and Hamilton.
Diodati adds he thinks this will bring lots of tourists to both cities.
"A lot of people are going to be travelling from across the country and beyond, and they're going to try to take in Niagara Falls and Hamilton and the Grey Cup."
The big game will take place on November 19th.
