Niagara's Regional Chair has been discharged from hospital.
Jim Bradley was admitted earlier this week for a respiratory illness.
Officials say he was discharged on Wednesday.
Bradley is thanking residents for their well wishes, as well as the staff at Niagara Health.
The Niagara Region says Bradley will continue to rest at home for the time being before returning to work.
