It happened at Gus Munro park
A disgusting and deliberate act of vandalism in a Niagara Falls playground causing significant damage.
The city has posted pictures of what appears to be someone who burned part of the grass and playground equipment at Gus Munro park Monday night.
The city writes it's difficult to understand why anyone would choose to damage a community place like this, that disappoints families, and diverts taxpayer dollars to repair it, that would be used instead for investments.
The playground is closed until further notice, while the damage is assessed, and determination made on what can be repaired or replaced.
If you know anything about who did this, call police.
