Welland residents are being invited to share their thoughts and ideas on the future vision and design of Sparrow Meadows Park.
The City is inviting citizens to respond to an online questionnaire on their Your Channel platform. Participants will be asked questions about issues including transportation, accessibility requirements and recreational preferences.
The results of the questionnaire will be evaluated by city staff and a consulting Landscape Architect, who will develop a wish list and a design concept for the park.
Citizens will have another chance to participate in part three of the project, which will consist of selecting the play equipment and other elements of the park.
The City aims to start construction in 2021.
You have until December 4th to participate in the survey, which can be found by visiting Sparrow Meads Park Development at Your Channel.
