Woman assaulted on 12 Mile Creek walking trail off Glendale Avenue.
A woman has sustained minor injuries following an assault in St. Catharines.
Police say just before 7:00 p.m. on July 5th, officers were called to the 12 Mile Creek walking trail off Glendale Avenue.
The woman was walking alone on the trail when she was approached from behind by an unknown man.
The man used physical force to assault the victim, then fled on a red e-bike.
The suspect is described as follows:
- Male
- White
- 50-55 years of age
- 5’5 - tall
- 200lbs
- Wearing a black t-shirt
- Wearing black shorts
- Wearing two strap sandals
Police say there is no evidence to indicate the attack was sexual in nature.
