Governor General Mary Simon releases latest list of Order of Canada honorees.
Dozens of performers, athletes, advocates and experts are being given Canada's highest honour.
Governor General Mary Simon has announced 85 new appointees to the Order of Canada.
"Grey's Anatomy" star Sandra Oh and Olympian Donovan Bailey are among those who have been named Officers to the Order of Canada.
New members of the order include curler Marilyn C. Bodogh, and environmental activist Robert Donald Munro, both of whom are from St. Catharines.
Meanwhile, Women's Tennis Association CEO Stacey Ann Allaster, who is from Welland, has been appointed as companion to the Order of Canada.
