Arrests conclude investigation into sale of illegal drugs in St. Catharines and Thorold
A pair of Brampton teens are in custody after police conducted a traffic stop on the suspect's vehicle on Burdette Drive near Pettit Avenue in Niagara Falls on Tuesday.
A search of the vehicle ended with the seizure of a loaded Smith and Wesson handgun, a loaded Glock 45 handgun, 4.5 grams of fentanyl, and 1.8 grams of cocaine.
Following the arrest, detectives searched a Niagara Falls Hotel, in the area of Stanley Avenue and Robinson Street, where they seized another 139.4 grams of cocaine and 60.6 grams of fentanyl.
Police say the combined total of all drugs seized is estimated to be $40,000.00.
19 year old Joshua Clottey and 19 year old Thshane Edwards are facing a long list of charges.
