Lincoln Mayor Sandra Easton and other dignitaries met the pair at Twenty Valley Public School in Vineland.
Lecce says this year is like no other and he is very proud of the province and the collective efforts in Niagara.
After, the Education Minister visited St. Elizabeth Elementary School in Wainfleet.
He was met by further dignitaries, including the new Director of Education for the Niagara Catholic District School Board, Camillo Cipriano.
The province has approved a new joint elementary school in Wainfleet.
