ETFO to Host BBQ Fundraiser During One-Day Rotating Strike

DSBN elementary teachers will hit the picket line once again.

The Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario is holding a one-day rotating strike today, closing all public elementary schools in Niagara.

The union will also hold a barbeque fundraiser today, outside the Lincoln County Humane Society in St. Catharines.

It’s from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and donations to the society will be accepted.

Members of the public will be able to enjoy hot dogs, hot chocolate and coffee.

The ETFO held a one-day province wide strike yesterday.
