One man is dead after a crash on the 406.
Police say the 54-year-old Welland man was driving a vehicle the wrong way early this morning.
It crashed into a transport truck and closed the south bound lanes of the 406 at Beaverdams Road.
The man driving the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the transport suffered minor injuries.
It's expected to re-open later this morning.
Police are investigating.
