Ottawa will match donations up to $10 million
As earthquake relief efforts continue in Syria and Turkey, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the federal government will match donations made to the Canadian Red Cross, up to $10 million.
The death toll from this week's earthquake is now over 11,000.
Rescuers continue to look for survivors in the rubble, but time is running out.
Yesterday, Ottawa announced it would send $10 million to the region.
